If you've made it here, you're in the shmood to treat yourself. And whether you think you deserve it or not, we're here to tell you you always do. Any anxieties or pressures your feeling are unnecessary to simply exist as you, and every second of your time deserves to be spent on you.

We've collated some self care ideas to get your self love juices flowing. We highly encourage you to do multiple at the same time!

 

 

1. Get drunk and paint on a canvas.

2. Have a supreme bubble bath with all your favourite soaps, stop saving them and use them!

3. Follow along to an online yoga video

4. Make an easy delicious recipe, or challenge yourself with one you never have time to do.

5. Catch up with a friend or family member.

6. Do a body, face, lip or booty mask. Or even better, all of them together.

7. Make a large meal for the week.

8. Go on a nice walk.

9. Re-mulch your plants and give them some love.

10. Jump in the ocean real quick, its always liberating and refreshing.

 

11. Look up a D.I.Y and do it.

12. Re-model a piece of clothing or furniture so its new again.

13. Make a smorgasbord aka fantasy food platter with popcorn and cheese and all your favourite things and watch a movie.

14. Light candles everywhere.

15. Re-arrange your room or rooms in your house.

 

16. Set your goals and intentions for the week or even just the next day! You won't believe how much more you'll achieve. (Even if you only do one thing on the list!)

17. Do a guided meditation, you can find those bad boys everywhere online and trust me they make your skin glow.

18. Fill your fridge with different homemade infused water.

19. Trim and paint your nails.

20. Do a foot scrub. You make your own easily if you don't have one!

 

21. Do an inhalation over a bowl of hot water and essential oils. You'll unclog all your nasal and ear passages and breathe way easier.

22. Take your pet for a walk.

23. Work on a project like you art, a car, a book etc.

24. Make a flower bouquets and fill your house with them.

25. Write some cards and letters and send them to your loved ones. I know everyone will appreciate that very unexpected gesture.

 

26. Lay outside and have a picnic looking up at the stars.

27. Yell as loud as you can at the top of your lungs. This is especially amazing at the top of a mountain. But no matter where you are, its scientifically proven and ancient method of relieving stress.

28. Do some baking or cake decorating with some tunes playing loud.

29. Refill your water bottle every hour.

30. Create a list of things you're grateful for.

 

31. Put karaoke or instrumentals up on your tv and sing away.

32. Find a new podcast and learn something.

33. Go to an online museum through Google's Arts & Culture Platform

34. Do a free online course in something new that you're passionate about.

35. Try a new hairstyle.

 

36. Clear out your old clothes. Give them away to charity or sell them on Depop.

37. Walk or drive to find a new gorgeous spot right where you live. Whether it's a secluded lookout or trail, or a new cafe.

38. Do some posture strengthening exercises.

39. Plan a trip away, even just an overnighter.

40. Write your weeks meal plan.

 

41. Book a friends night or spontaneously have one now!

42. Stretch when you wake up and before you go to sleep.

43. Change your sheets.

44. Unfollow everyone on social media that bring up insecurities or you don't even like.

45. Order a 23andMe DNA test. See where you come from and in turn learn about your bodies needs and tendancies (with food in particular).

 

46. Order a delicious meal or drink and eat in or eat out.

47. Go to a food or clothes market.

48. Learn and implement square breathing when you need to calm down. (breathe in for 5 secs, hold for 5 secs, breathe out for 5 secs and hold for 5 secs). Proven to release stress and used by the military to create a calm mind in the most tense situations.

49. Block out a weekly slot to go do something with your friends.

50.  Pick out a bunch of outfits and do a photoshoot. Take pixies in different spots around your house or go for a drive. Bring a friend, use the self timer or take selfies!
